Negative Basic-shaped CNMG 80° rhombic inserts also have a wiper effect on the 100° corner. (Combination with 75° holder.) Due to increased feed rate, the chip breaking is normally improved with wiper inserts.
Excellent surface finishes can be achieved with standard insert in combination with one or more wiper inserts.
